Premarital counselling is structured relationship support: four 75-minute sessions in which a couple discusses expectations with a professional. It is not a test and there is no verdict. A typical journey looks like this:
The couple and professional identify the topics that matter most, such as family expectations, money or communication.
Sessions give each partner space to explain their view and listen to the other’s, at a steady pace.
Couples explore how they disagree and how they repair things afterwards.
The couple leaves with clearer shared understanding and points to keep discussing.
